This is a rare, antique, hand painted Hiawatha chalk bust of a Native American Indian Chief. Once used as a countertop display for advertising cigars in the early 1900's. Far more vibrant in color in comparison to others that I've seen.Unique and one of a kind design. Notice the red and yellow face paint, red/green tribal beads, and lightning bolt arrow medallion. Chips on some areas, especially on lower back corner (please view pictures). Otherwise, in great shape for its age.
This is a nice solid collectors piece to add to your collectibles. You won't find another one like it in this style. Please view photos for best details. Did you find this interesting?
